What to Bring to Quail Run Behavioral Health
The following list includes items are recommended to bring for treatment at Quail Run Behavioral Health:

Quail Run Behavioral Health:
- Up to three changes of clothing (we offer laundry facilities on site)
- Insurance card and a picture ID
- Legal paperwork and/or guardianship paperwork as appropriate
- List of prescription medications, including information about dosage
- Relevant medical records
- Name(s) and telephone number(s) of your primary care providers, psychiatrist, counselor, etc.
- Request of Information form (our assessment team can fax this in advance for completion) for continuing care providers
- Toiletries are provided; if you have a prescription lotion for example, talk with the assessment team about whether this is provided or should be brought in
- Journal or books are acceptable, though they must not contain spiral (we can provide these as well)

Permitted Personal Belongings
- Five (5) casual outfits
- Shorts-mid thigh length
- Sweat pants-no draw strings
- Shoes-no laces/metal or high heels
- A set of pajamas or a non-transparent nightgown
- Five (5) wide strap-long tank top/undershirt
- Five (5) pairs of socks
- Five (5) pairs of underwear
- Five- (5) bras-No underwire
- Sweater or sweatshirt without strings or ties (Hooded sweaters or sweatshirts are not allowed)
- Lip Moisturizer
- Dentures
- Eye Glasses/Contacts-case and solution
- Hearing Aids/batteries
- Medical devices for which there is a physician’s order
Contraband (What Not to Bring)
The following items are considered contraband; this list is not intended to be all-inclusive:
- All glass objects, including makeup bottles and mirrors
- All sharp objects, whether metal, wire or hard plastic, including tweezers, scissors, knives, hair picks, barrettes, hair clips/pins, razors, nail clippers, spiral notebooks, hanger, etc
- All jewelry that can be removed from a person, including rings and watches (including body piercings) and items made from para cord material.
- Any electronic items including CD players, cell phones, I-Pods, electronic toothbrushes, radios, tapes, CD’s, computers, batteries including button batteries, hairdryers, curling irons. Flat irons, etc
- Any aerosols or hair sprays are not allowed.
- Personal hygiene articles containing alcohol including mouthwash and hand sanitizer products Individual shampoos, and deodorants are not allowed without a prescription.
- Any smoking materials, including lighters and matches, or tobacco products
- Any food or drink not provided by the facility
- Any items containing staples, including magazines
- Any belts, cloth sashes, cord-strung pants, drawstrings, suspenders, shoelaces are not allowed. Clothing may not consist of halter-tops, low cut necklines, spaghetti straps, short-shorts, midriff revealing tops.
- Any stuffed animals, personal blankets, pillows or bedding (infection control)
- All Pencils with erasers, pens (patients will only be allowed pens by order of the treatment team), markers, sharpies, white out.
- Any over the counter or prescribed medications unless prescribed by the attending physician.
- Alcohol and illegal drugs
- Any clothing depicting or promoting alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, pornography, gangs or violence
- Any sunglasses or bandanas
- Weapons or firearms
- Any loose powder, body powder
- Any plastic bags or bags with handles or strings
- Dental floss, rope or twine
- Hard cover books (Only soft covered books will be allowed)
- Magnetic toys
- Fidget Spinner
